The Tea Garden

Enjoy a Leisurely Lunch, an Afternoon Tea, Sunday Dinner or Fine Evening Dining, Private Functions and Intimate Weddings at the Tea Garden...

Glorious Day, Everyone!

I have some happy news for those of you who love gardens and tea, and who live in this part of the world! The Tea Garden in Holyrood re-opened for the 2011 summer season on June 18th. YAY!  Their fresh pan-fried cod, signature homemade salad dressing, and iced tea are true delights! The slideshow below will give you a little glimpse into all that awaits.  Chances are there is a beautiful ‘tea garden’ somewhere near you…time to take a break. ♥

A good friend and her sister enjoy afternoon tea and the beautiful vistas. At The Tea Garden, it seems as though the hands of time stand still. Peaceful relaxation...

NOTE:  The Tea Garden closes for the season on September 11th.

My favourites - refreshing iced tea and tasty apple crumble dessert - served atop a crisp Battenburg lace-covered table outside on the sunny deck, watching the sailboats that dot the harbour glide by...

BEAUTIFUL IDEA: I made this winsome teapot-themed floral wreath (how appropriate!) some years ago for good friends and 'The Tea Garden' owners, Brendan and Marie Hunt. It was a 'Thank-You' for their being so kind as to host 'TEA SPOTS - PAWS FOR TEA', a Ruff-Spots Animal Welfare Foundation fundraiser to spay and neuter sweet shelter animals...It celebrated the start of the summer season, as well as a fabulous event...Lovely! To this day, it still hangs on the door there.

After 10 glorious years, The Tea Garden closed its doors in September 2013 and the owners retired. Sigh. We will miss this place. We shared many special occasions here. Thank you Brendan and Marie for giving us such beautiful memories…Blessings.
