Happy Christmas Eve! Won’t you share ‘A CUP OF CHRISTMAS’ with me? In celebration, I’d be happy to brew some Twinings Christmas Tea in my holiday teapot. I keep it on the mantle along with a beautiful ‘Brown Betty’ that once belonged to my dear mother-in-law (we miss you Ethel especially at Christmastime...)
On this special night, as my gift to you, gentle readers, I am sharing a little Christmas ‘story’ and Smilebox slideshow of past Christmases in our home (the living room looks much different now as you can see in the previous post “A Christmas Tea for Lucas“). So, let’s all put on our Christmas jammies, curl up for a bit and “Dream a wee dream of Christmas”…

Just enjoying the day and feeling totally inspired by your incredible images of this festive season! The “Christmas Tea for Lucas” was such a memorable event, and we were so thrilled to share the day with you guys. Congratulations on such an amazing accomplishment! You and Midge are, indeed, one fantastic team!
Yay, Joanne! It always makes me smile to know someone is reading, or even scrolling through the pics! I love all the beauty that this season brings and it is an opportunity to indulge my passion.
Yes, “A Christmas Tea for Lucas” was so memorable wasn’t it?! What a fantastic day! You played a huge role in that, m’dear. It was truly the best gift of the season for us. With the monies raised ($1,425 was the grand total), Lucas’ family was able to buy for him a new bed and special mattress as recommended.
We were up bright and early this morning and went for breakfast downtown before hitting the Boxing Day sales. A group of 4 police officers (2 men and 2 women) sat at the table next to us in the cafe, and we asked the waitress to put their breakfasts on our tab and not tell them until they were finished their meals. Lol I would love to have seen their faces! We got the idea many years ago when watching Oprah’s TV show featuring “Random Acts of Kindness” and have found much joy in doing these little things from time to time ever since…
